Erasmus International Credit Mobility Call

What is Erasmus ICM?: 

International Credit Mobility (ICM) is an Erasmus + Key Action 1 project which aims to facilitate exchange and education links between European and international partners. The ICM programme offers funded mobility opportunities for staff to and from international partners. 

The current call for applications covers a bilateral staff mobility between Sabancı University (SU) (Turkey) and University of Malaya (UM) (Malaysia).The duration will be 5 working days plus 2 days for travel.

Who is Eligible?

Administrative Staff of Sabancı University (SU). Candidates should have a contractual relationship with SU.

160 Euro/ day ( 5 working days plus 2 days for travel, total 7 days)

Erasmus+ Special Needs Support:  Erasmus+ pays particular attention to guidance, reception, physical accessibility, pedagogical and technical support services, and, especially, financing the extra costs for students and staff whose physical, mental or health-related conditions are such that their participation in Erasmus+ would not be possible without extra financial support.  This is to ensure that beneficiaries can take full advantage of an Erasmus+  mobility experience. SU IRO in consultation with the disability office will help beneficiaries to apply for additional funding for their special needs. 

Timeline of the visit:

The visit can take any time not later than 31.07.2019

Application:

- All applicants should prepare a work plan , sign and upload it to our system at the following link: http://exchange.sabanciuniv.edu/node/add/staff-mobility

Evaluation Criteria:

SU’s Exchange Committee will evaluate the applications according to the following criteria:

*Objectives  : (0 - 5 points)
*Added Value (in the context of the modernisation and internationalisation strategies of the institutions involved): (0 - 5 points)
*Expected outcomes and impact (e.g. on the professional development of the staff member and on both institutions): (0 - 5 points) 
*Benefiting from the Erasmus+ programme  in the last 3 years: minus n points (- n times x -3) 
*Applying for the Country of citizenship (-2 points) 
*Personnel with special needs (disability) (+2 points) 

The Exchange committe will rank and share the list of candidates with UM. The final approval will be given by UM.

Notification of the Results:

The Exchange Committe plans to announce the results after two weeks of the announced deadline.  All selected candidates informed of the grant decision will have 3 days to accept or reject the scholarship.

Sending of invitation letters to beneficiaries: 

University of Malaya will issue invitation letter for the visa procedure.

Payments:  Payments will be transferred to selected candidates’ € accounts upon their arrival at UM. Sabancı University International Office (IRO) will guide candidates on this process once their grant isapproved.

After The Training Mobility:

Beneficiaries send the following documents to SU IRO:

 ► Confirmation of participation (Will be provided by SU IRO)
 ► Boarding  passes  (Upon arrival and return)
 ► Mobility Tool Report   (IRO will register beneficiaries to EU’s portal upon their return. The system will send them an online survey) (Upon return)
