‣ Notes

1- The following link will take you to the list of all courses held in the English language in past semesters (summer and winter). There might be some slight variations between past lists and the course offers during upcoming semesters, but you can use them as a reference nevertheless: https://elearning.uni-oldenburg.de/plugins.php/veranstaltungsverzeichnis_lvsg/englishmodules. And here is a general course overview at the University of Oldenburg where you can see which modules are usually offered in the summer semester (semester 2 and 4) and winter semester (semester 1 and 3). Please note that the final course catalogue is only published about 6 weeks before the start of the semester: https://elearning.uni-oldenburg.de/plugins.php/veranstaltungsverzeichnis/verzeichnis 2- English course offer for exchange students: https://elearning.uni-oldenburg.de/plugins.php/veranstaltungsverzeichnis/englishmodules/. 3- Students who want to attend German-taught courses are required to have a minimum language proiciency of level B1 (Common European Framework of Reference). Students who are planning on taking only English-taught courses are exempt from the German proiciency requirement. Instead they need to have an equivalent proiciency in English; the minimum level required is B1. 4- They allow students to take courses from different faculties other than the placed one. 5- Since dorm rooms might be limited, please submit your application as soon as possible. Please note that the housing market in Oldenburg is very tight. In the past, the Studentenwerk could make a room offer to every exchange student. We highly recommend to accept that offer to avoid any frustration when it comes to accommodation.
