IMPORTANT NOTE FOR COURSES
Partner may have none or limited courses in English for exchange students.
Please check the language of instruction for the courses within the agreement that you wish to be placed.
Please make sure to check partner's website for the up-to-date information on language and entry requirements.
‣ Language Certificate
Proof of English Proficiency for non- native English speakers: TOEFL (a minimum score of 79 Internet-based test score) or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (with a score of A, B or C) or IELTS (minimum score of 6.0) or PTE (minimum score of 58)
‣ Notes
1- Courses are grouped in modules and follow a pre-set plan. Students choose, with the international coordinator at home institution, core modules (according to level) and specializations or track modules.
2-IUM uses the US credit system. 1 credit per approximately 15 contact hours. Each option is worth 15 US credits min. (eq. 30 ECTS)
3- Most of our students live in France, therefore for non-European students, a Long Stay Visitor visa (called VLS-TS type D visitor visa) has to be requested
to the French Consulate or Embassy of home country. An invitation letter from IUM is provided in the application procedure. For those who plan to live in Monaco, a student visa for Monaco has to be requested to the French Consulate of home country.
4- The International University of Monaco does not offer an on-campus accommodation option. Students are responsible for finding and paying their own accommodation. Our student services office offers support in this matter.
