About National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) is one of Taiwan's leading public research universities located in Hsinchu, Taiwan and firstly founded in Shanghai, China in 1896. It is known as an engineering and management research university. There are 9 colleges with 14.000 students. NCTU ranks 48th in Engineering – Electrical and Electronic by QS World University Rankings by Subject 2016 and College of Management has been accredited by the AACSB in 2007&renewed in 2012.

The people are so warm and friendly with a generous treatment. The country has a favorable higher education system with different opportunities for foreign students. - NCTU offers a number of residence halls for both graduate and undergraduate students. Once accepted into a residence hall, students are able to stay for the period of their studies at NCTU. However, due to the high demand for housing, on-campus accommodation is not guaranteed.
