1- Most courses, lectures or seminars at our faculty are taught in German language and all require continuous attendance to gain credit points (CP)
2- https://international.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/en/course-catalogue 3- They allow students to take courses from different faculties other than the placed one.
4- each student must pay the so called social contribution fee (approx. €350 per semester) which includes the semester ticket for public transport in the whole region of North Rhine-Westphalia. 5- The International Office offers a special service for exchange students. Students can apply for accommodation for the duration of their exchange (1-2 semesters). Since the International Office can only reserve a limited number of rooms for exchange students, early
registration and flexibility is useful. 6- It is recommended that students open a German bank account to make payments of rent and the semester contribution fee easier. A bank account for students is usually free of charge.
