SU proficiency letter is sufficient for English. You may pick up your English proficiency letter from International Relations Office. German level of at least A2 is recommended.

1) Erfurt University (EU) provides an assessment sheet that German teachers of the students can fill out which can be submitted with the application. Please note that EU offers a four-week and free-of-charge German Intensive course in September (winter semesters) and March (summer semesters) for the levels A0/A1 to lower B1. The course is accompanied by support in all enrollment steps and by welcome events as well as study information sessions. EU strongly encourages students to participate as it will support students in strengthening their German skills. 2) At the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences, at which the program International Relations is taught, a lot of courses taught in English are offered.
