‣ Language Certificate

We strongly recommend a German level of at least A2, especially for communication off-campus where German skills are really helpful. We provide an assessment sheet that German teachers of the students can fill out which can be submitted with the application (see attachment for your information). Please note that we offer a four-week and free-of-charge German Intensive course in September (winter semesters) and March (summer semesters) for the levels A0/A1 to lower B1. The course is accompanied by support in all enrolment steps and by welcome events as well as study information sessions. We strongly encourage students to participate as it will support students in strengthening their German skills! For students, who cannot participate we organize an Orientation week which takes place the week before lectures start. An English level of B2 is required for International Relations students and generally for the programmes taught at the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences.SU letter is sufficient for English taught courses.
