IMPORTANT NOTE FOR COURSES
Partner may have none or limited courses in English for exchange students.
Please check the language of instruction for the courses within the agreement that you wish to be placed.

SU Letter is sufficient. It is required that students must either have good German language skills OR a good level of English (at least B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The University of Mannheim reserves the right to deny admission into courses for students who do not have the requested level.
‣ Notes
1- Exchange students must take courses from the school to which they are coming on exchange. However, they can choose 1-2 courses from the university-wide elective courses of other courses. Please check the web site for wide range of courses in English.
2-Semester contribution is compulsory for every student.
3- Affordable living conditions.
4- The course list will be published at www.uni-mannheim.de/aaa/courses. Exchange students must take the majority of their courses at the school in which they will enroll. However, they can also choose one or two courses from other schools through the university-wide electives.
5- Welcome Week is mandatory and includes: • an introduction to the study system • campus tour and Welcome Reception • school-specific sessions and library tours.
6- Students can apply for student residences or look for a room on the private market. For exchange students from overseas, we offer a very limited number of places in our off-campus student residences.
