‣ Language Certificate

The minimum requirement is English skills at B2 level (CEFR). You may pick up your English language proficiency letter from International Relations Office upon your request during partner university's application period. Please also note that, all students have to comply with the English requirements as specified on our website: http://www.wageningenur.nl/en/Education-Programmes/Study-Abroad-and-Exchange-Students/Show/Admission-Requirements-1.htm.

‣ Notes

1- A minimum of 120 ECTS should have been completed before the exchange, which equals at least two years of study at the home university/academic background. 2- Most 2nd and 3rd year BSc classes are in English. All MSc classes are in English. It is recommended to control courses in advance. This is important for the incoming students, because it benefits their study, but also for our regular students; group assignments, presentations and case studies are often part of the teaching methods. Students have to work together and therefore they should have a comparable background. The number of BSc courses in English is limited, especially at Social Sciences. All courses from MSc level are in English but they require background knowledge on that topic on a BSc level. For BSc study programmes which are completely taught in English it will be easier to compose a study programme and It also depends on the degree of flexibility the student has with regard to course selection. Also good to know; Wageningen University most courses in Economics require a strong background in Mathematics (differential calculus, matrix- and vector-algebra) and Statistics (SPSS or R). 3- There is a very limited number of rooms through Wageningen university & Research available for exchange students. Therefore, only exchange students who need a visa/residence permit for The Netherlands will receive housing through Wageningen University & Research. They will automatically be invited for this.
