The Erasmus+ International Mobility (IM) Program, also known as Erasmus Worldwide, supports student and staff mobility beyond Europe. Türkiye is one of the 33 Erasmus+ Program Countries, while all other regions are considered Partner Countries.

Students and staff from partner universities may undertake funded mobility at Sabancı University, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.

The program aims to enhance study and research opportunities, strengthen academic skills, foster sustainable international partnerships, and develop participants’ language and intercultural competencies.

All mobility activities require a signed inter-institutional agreement between the sending and receiving institutions prior to the start of the mobility.

Mobility durations follow the limits set by the European Commission. Physical mobility ranges from 2 to 12 months, while short-term doctoral mobility lasts between 5 and 30 days.

Sabancı University generally hosts students for one semester. For short-term doctoral mobility, partner institutions should contact our office before nomination.

We are informing our partner institutions via email with the guideline and via online meetings in details.
