- What is a Blended Intensive Program (BIP)?
A BIP combines online (virtual) and in-person (physical) mobility, allowing students to engage in a mix of online classes, seminars, and activities, followed by a short-term exchange at Sabancı University. This innovative format offers flexibility, fosters international collaboration, and provides students with a rich, intercultural academic experience. BIP could be in any level of study (Bachelor / Master or PhD)
How to create a BIP?
- At least 3 universities from 3 different Erasmus program countries should develop and implement the BIP. Coordinator University could be host institution at the same time.
- Minimum 10 participants from project partners should travel to host university.
- Sabancı University has a organizational support budget of 6000€ as a coordinator university and SU can host a BIP.
- Duration of the program: Physical mobility from 5 days to 30 days; no eligibility criteria is set for the duration of the compulsory virtual component but the combined virtual and physical mobility must award a minimum of 3 ECTS credits for students.
- The BIP should be completed no later than 31/07/2026
Why should you propose a BIP?
International Collaboration: Partner with universities across Europe under Erasmus+ Program.
Enhanced Learning Opportunities: Provide students with a blend of digital and hands-on experiences.
Academic Recognition: Contribute to internationally recognized programs and earn credits for students.
