What is Computer Science and Engineering?
Sabancı University Computer Science and Engineering Program trains computer engineers with the potential to contribute to the scientific and technological advancements in the field of computer engineering, benefiting from a broad curriculum drawing from various disciplines and research experience. Sabancı computer engineers are equipped with opportunities throughout their educational journey to specialize in their chosen program based on their interests and abilities, utilizing the laboratories and centers available on our campus. Aligned with Sabancı University's philosophy of 'Creating and Developing Together,' the goal of the Computer Science and Engineering Program is to generate and disseminate knowledge on software, programming, computer networks, database management, and embedded systems through national/international, academic/industry partnerships, and interdisciplinary projects. Graduates from our Computer Science and Engineering program receive education in programming languages, software design, and software-hardware integration.

Course Curriculum
Students enrolled in the undergraduate program at Sabancı University have a wide range of elective courses to choose from. However, each program naturally includes required core courses. For the Computer Science and Engineering program, some examples would include Introduction to Computers, Advanced Programming, Data Structures, Numerical Analysis, and Machine Learning. Just like in any undergraduate field, project courses are mandatory in the Computer Engineering program.
