Psychology is a scientific field that examines human thoughts, behaviors, and the processes underlying them. Our Psychology undergraduate program is designed to provide methods, knowledge, and skills in the field of psychology, encompassing all areas of this discipline. Due to the interests of our academic staff and researchers, our Psychology undergraduate program focuses on "Cognitive Psychology" (a subfield that examines processes of perception, attention, memory, and decision-making). Cognitive Psychology contributes significantly to emerging disciplines like "Neuroscience" and "Cognitive Neuroscience." Today, the field of psychology requires a more holistic perspective. Our interdisciplinary education system at Sabancı University aligns well with this need. From the early stages, our students encounter questions and methods from both natural and social sciences, shaping their educational journey.

In addition to the rich curriculum of our Psychology undergraduate program, a significant aspect is the project work that enables students to develop research skills. At Sabancı University, Psychology students are supported to conduct independent research projects under the supervision of the academic staff. Our aim is for students to contribute both in the creation process and in critical analysis to the knowledge produced in the field of psychology. These skills form the distinctive qualities of our graduates in both industrial and academic domains. Among the diverse course offerings available for Psychology undergraduate candidates are courses like Mind and Behavior, Biological Foundations of Behavior, Culture and Cognitive Processes, and Individual Differences: Intelligence and Personality.
