Psychology Program

Psychology is a scientific field that examines human thoughts, behaviors, and the processes underlying them. Our Psychology undergraduate program is designed to provide methods, knowledge, and skills in the field of psychology, encompassing all areas of this discipline. Due to the interests of our academic staff and researchers, our Psychology undergraduate program focuses on "Cognitive Psychology" (a subfield that examines processes of perception, attention, memory, and decision-making). Cognitive Psychology contributes significantly to emerging disciplines like "Neuroscience" and "Cognitive Neuroscience." Today, the field of psychology requires a more holistic perspective. Our interdisciplinary education system at Sabancı University aligns well with this need. Students in Sabancı University's undergraduate programs have a wide range of elective courses available.
